Play the role of your lifetime...become a foster parent.

There is a great need for new foster parents in Arizona, particularly families who are willing and able to care for older children and sibling groups. There are nearly 10,000 children living in out-of-home care in Arizona. Our foster care program gives families the opportunity to have a positive, lasting impact on our state's most vulnerable children.

Most children have been removed from their birth families' care due to abuse or neglect; they range in age from birth to 17 years and often consist of sibling groups. They come from a variety of ethnic backgrounds and cultures. AAFC's foster families are stable, nurturing adults who, knowing that their time with the children is only temporary, provide them with love and consistency and are there to instill in the children the skills and values they need to meet life's uncertainties.
Arizona Adoption & Foster Care (AAFC) is a nonprofit foster care and adoption agency that provides parents with exceptional training, child-family matching services and post-placement support and services. AAFC serves single and two parent families and has no limitation on religious beliefs, ethnicity or sexual preference.
