In recent months, there has been a decline in the number of foster parents being licensed. We are interested in expanding our recruitment efforts in order to draw in high quality candidates to meed the needs of kids in care. There is a great need for foster families who will accommodate sibling groups and who will take older children.
We are asking our current foster parents and friends of AAFC to help us with these efforts as you are one of our greatest resources in recruiting new families. If you are involved with a church, club, or group where there might be individuals or families interested in learning about foster care, please let us know. Someone from our foster care or adoption department will provide information, brochures or a brief presentation on the process, the kids and of course will answer questions.
Please help us spread the word that we are in need of stable, loving foster families who are interested in making a long term impact on the children in Arizona's foster care system and helping them realize their potential.
